The credit goes to a state-of-the-art new software program called DEVNET, developed by Dauphin County Treasurer Janis Creason and Commissioners Jeff Haste, Mike Pries and George P. Hartwick, III.
“Before DEVNET, our townships and boroughs were burdened with obsolete systems that led to long lag times in processing,” Hartwick said. “This system makes collections more uniform, eliminates mistakes, and allows the county to help out our municipalities in yet another way.”
