EdgeMaps™ provides real-time GIS integration with authoritative CAMA and Tax Data. Powered by Esri’s ArcGIS Platform, easy-to-configure web maps are embedded throughout the Edge™ software suite offering highly-valuable, interactive thematic maps.

Embedded Maps
DEVNET has created an integrated GIS map control using the ArcGIS Runtime for search and displaying search results, visualizing property characteristics, and displaying thematic map reports. DEVNET will author a default set of web maps using the client’s ArcGIS Online Organization account or Portal. Each web map will contain the appropriate GIS map and feature service layers, thematic symbology, and configured pop-ups. The client will have full control over all thematic maps and web map design, including symbology, scale ranges, and pop-ups using Esri’s ArcGIS Online Map Viewer or ArcGIS Pro. The Map Viewer will allow the client’s GIS or other department trained staff to organize map services and author individual web maps for parcel queries, reports, and studies to be displayed by DEVNET’s Edge™ and wEdge™ applications. ArcGIS Online gives the author the ability to adjust individual map layer settings such as symbology, transparency, visible scale ranges, filters, pop-ups, and map labels. ArcGIS Online also provides a sophisticated access and sharing model, allowing staff to restrict access to DEVNET users only or share maps to decision-makers throughout the organization or even the public.
Embedded maps can be found throughout DEVNET’s Edge™ and wEdge™ applications. Each consumes a unique web map and can be categorized as Query Builder, property characteristics, and studies and reports.

DEVNET Edge™ is a parcel-centric suite of applications that offer robust parcel search and maintenance capabilities. EdgeMaps™ extends this functionally by embedding interactive ArcGIS Online web maps to the parcel search and maintenance modules as well as a fully map-centric desktop review system. Users can search and select parcels, compare orthographic, oblique, and street-level photography, view summary and aggregate report data, and rapidly make changes.

EdgeMaps™ introduces focused map explorers that give knowledge workers direct access to meaningful data through thematic maps, search criteria, and a wide variety of report and analysis widgets. Each application boasts a variety of highly configurable explorers that are driven by ArcGIS Online web maps and a full catalog of plug-and-play criteria and widgets.

DEVNET Edge™ applications provide a comprehensive set of tools for the analysis of property valuation, tax calculation, and collections. EdgeMaps™ allows users to geographically select candidate data, visualize statistical analysis results, and perform advanced GIS analytics in real-time.

DEVNET is designing a cross-platform native application that will run on all
major tablet operating systems. This application will offer the following features:

Support
DEVNET’s system manages much of the authoritative data that drive community solutions. Esri and its business partners have created a collection of maps and applications for local government organizations. ArcGIS for Land Records is a collection of maps, applications, and solutions targeted at local government organizations that rely on parcel-related data such as tax and CAMA.
These solutions are built upon a data model called the Esri Local Government Information Model (LGIM). DEVNET can offer support for solutions in the following ways:

DEVNET will provide author SQL views and publish ArcGIS Server feature services with parcel-related data in the LGIM schema. This will allow clients to stand up ArcGIS for Local Government applications with real-time read-only access to the authoritative data.

DEVNET will provide a publication and synchronization mechanism for uploading parcel-related data to ArcGIS Online in the LGIM schema. This will allow clients to stand up ArcGIS for Local Government applications without the need for ArcGIS Server.
