After careful consideration of all proposals in a formal bidding process, Hamilton County Auditor, Dusty Rhodes has decided to implement the DEVNET Edge® Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal (CAMA) solution.
Hamilton County is located in the southwest corner of the state of Ohio. The county seat is Cincinnati and it is the third most populous county in Ohio at a population of approximately 802,000. The county lies in a region of gentle hills formed by the slopes of the Ohio River valley and its tributaries. The Great Miami River, the Little Miami River, and the Mill Creek also contribute to this system of hillsides and valleys.
“The DEVNET solution will satisfy our vision for a new Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal (CAMA) system. The new solution will be a scalable, integrated system that will meet the unique needs of my Office.” says Auditor Rhodes.
Auditor Rhodes then goes on to say that “The Auditor, as the Chief Assessor, is charged with discovering, listing and fairly valuing all 345,000 taxable and exempt properties in Hamilton County, using all three approaches to value (market, income, and cost). By implementing the DEVNET Edge® Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal (CAMA) solution we will be streamlining in-house operations through integration with our Real Property DEVNET Edge® Tax Accounting solution.”
