DEVNET is pleased that Washington County, Missouri will be using the DEVNET wEdge e-government solution. The Washington County Collector, Michael McGirl has decided to implement wEdge further integrating the property tax processes and online collection of taxes at the county.
wEdge is DEVNET’s e-government solution for providing property tax information to public and county users. wEdge provides a powerful yet easy-to-use interface for searching and viewing all properties and personal property accounts within a jurisdiction. With minimal effort, users can create powerful queries, browse matching properties, see a map of result properties, and view details about each property.
Washington County uses the DEVNET Edge® Property Tax Assessment Administration & Billing and Collection solutions. DEVNET is pleased that the county is adding yet another of the DEVNET Edge® solutions. DEVNET will be hosting wEdge for the county. wEdge will allow the Collector to offer the general public greater access to their property tax information and will create efficiency in collection by providing 24×7 access to property information and the means to collect taxes after hours. Taxpayers will be able to easily pay their property tax and personal property tax liabilities online. The third party payment processing will be handled by Forte. DEVNET provides a seamless shopping cart experience partnered with Forte to keep things simple for the user.
