Jim Sager has joined DEVNET Inc. as the Help Desk Manager.
For over 30 years, Jim has been an IT consultant for manufacturing and distribution. He brings a wealth of experience in direct customer interaction and problem solving, and in finding ways to ensure that customers are happy with their product and its support.
Jim’s goal as Help Desk Manager is to provide effective support and materials to make users more efficient through direct contact, understanding customer issues clearly, and working toward anticipating and providing better help by improving the existing online Knowledge Base materials and creating new documentation and methods where necessary. Jim feels that one of the help desk’s main challenges is to make sure DEVNET clients have the help they need to remember and carry out required processes from year to year.
Along with his DEVNET responsibilities, Jim also is an adjunct professor in the Computer Information Systems Department at Kishwaukee College in Malta, Illinois, where he teaches classes in fundamentals of Web design, PC repair, and wireless technology.
