Coles County, Illinois, Decides on DEVNET’s Edge™ CAMA Solution

DEVNET is pleased to announce that Coles County, Illinois, has added the integrated Edge™ Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal (CAMA) solution to further integrate and enhance the county’s property tax management operations. Since 2011, Coles County has been a client of DEVNET’s Edge™ Assessment Administration, Billing & Collection, and wEdge™ E-government solution.

Based on IAAO and USPAP industry standards, the DEVNET Edge™ CAMA solution automates appraisal functions for accurate parcel valuation, integrated building cost options, and sales and income analysis.

“As a recently appointed Supervisor of Assessments, I appreciate the effort put forth by the DEVNET support team,” said Coles County Supervisor of Assessments Karen Biddle. “Their hard work has helped us to keep the Property Tax cycle moving along on schedule. In the past, we have struggled with entering data into two computer systems. Using DEVNET Edge™ CAMA will greatly improve productivity and accuracy.”

The county will be utilizing Marshall & Swift® valuation, the standard for valuation in the appraisal industry.
