As Project Manager, he will be overseeing project plans and working to meet client expectations. Ptak’s current responsibilities include St. Louis, Missouri, and jurisdictions in Ohio and Pennsylvania, and he will continue to support DEVNET GIS products as a subject matter expert.
“Steve has proven to be instrumental in developing and supporting DEVNET’s GIS Product and EdgeMaps, as well as being an excellent team member,” noted Brandon McPherson, DEVNET Vice President of Client Services. “I jumped at the opportunity to have Steve come over to the Project Management side. Working closely with Steve over the past several weeks, I have seen firsthand his ambition, progressive thinking, and drive to be the best person he can be to represent DEVNET and advocate for our clients.”
“My new role allows me to continue my passion for developing solutions to meet shared objectives while strengthening client relationships,” Ptak said. “I look forward to working more closely with our clients to deliver the best end user experience possible.”
Ptak noted that over the last two years DEVNET has increased market share in many new territories and enhanced its product line with innovative new features. “It’s truly an exciting time to be a part of it all,” he said. “Our staff includes extremely knowledgeable and results-driven individuals. I’m proud of all the work we do and proud to be part of a company that empowers people to succeed. I continue to be impressed by our leadership and overall company focus. Our unmatched commitment to superior user experience and support makes DEVNET an extremely rewarding place to work.”
McPherson added, “Steve’s skill set and ability to understand the end user experience, coupled with this comprehensive knowledge of DEVNET’s solutions, will advance DEVNET’s progress and benefit our clients, as business partners, meeting the demand to offer the best software solutions for Local Government. Steve has already initiated new methods for managing projects. We look forward to see his continued growth at DEVNET and his continued fostering of client relationships. It is a very exciting time at DEVNET, and having Steve on board as a Project Manager makes it even more exciting.”
