DEVNET is pleased to announce the addition of Clarion County, PA to its growing customer base.
Clarion County Director and Chief Assessor Lesley J. Lander and the Clarion County Commissioners have chosen the DEVNET Edge® CAMA, Property Tax Assessment Administration, and wEdge e-government solutions to realize the complete integration of the county’s assessment and taxation processes.
In addition to maintaining assessment records and tax maps, the county Assessment Office is responsible for ensuring that all properties are assessed in a uniform and equitable manner.
“I’m excited to have DEVNET on board in Clarion County to help us bust into the 21st century and lead us into the future,” said Chair Commissioner Wayne Brosius. “Several members of their staff are former government officials who have experience in how government works. One of the good things about this partnership is the increased service we will be able to provide to the residents of our county. This system will eventually allow the public to have easier access to our assessment office and its records.”
Clarion County Commissioner Gregory A. Faller added, “Clarion County looks forward to working with DEVNET to update its assessment records into the DEVNET property tax software system. The agreement with DEVNET for the conversion of Clarion County property tax data — which now is in paper form — to an electronic format which includes computer assisted mass appraisal software (CAMA) and assessment administration software will improve efficiencies in the Assessment Office of Clarion County.“
“We welcome Clarion County to our DEVNET family and our growing Pennsylvania market,” said DEVNET president Michael Gentry. “The DEVNET Edge® integrated solutions will enable the county to streamline the appraisal process and maintain assessment information more efficiently. The county is focused on serving its taxpayers by making property tax data available online. The DEVNET wEdge solution is the premier Web application available in today’s marketplace for making this information accessible to the public. We look forward to working with the county on this important implementation.”
