The City of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, Adds DEVNET CAMA and wEdge™

DEVNET is proud to welcome the City of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, as its newest CAMA and wEdge™ customer.

DEVNET Edge™ CAMA and Assessment Administration is developed based on IAAO and USPAP industry standards. It automates the appraisal and assessment administration functions for accurate valuation and complete parcel maintenance, assessment, exemption, and appeals information.

Wauwatosa Assessor Shannon Krause’s previous experience as a DEVNET user contributed to the City’s selection.

“DEVNET is a company with a proven record of delivering a working product in a timely manner with dependable support,” Krause said. “Because I was a past customer when I worked for a different municipality and was familiar with the quality of the product and the level of service, it made the decision on reputation and reliability easy. DEVNET is responsive and quick to adjust its software to the many changes that are made each year by the Department of Revenue.”

DEVNET wEdge™ solutions provide web access to the Edge™ Ecosystem, giving the public, local offices, outside agencies, and partner organizations a gateway to real-time authoritative data.

“DEVNET’s wEdge™ application provides Internet access to property data with the ability to search for properties against our live data, which will assist taxpayers, business professionals, and all city departments,” Krause added. “DEVNET offers the ability to link other applications within city government so that data is easily shared.”

About The City of Wauwatosa

The City of Wauwatosa is four miles west of downtown Milwaukee on the Menomonee River in Milwaukee County. It has an area of 13.25 square miles and a population of over 47,000. The current Mayor is Kathleen Ehley. The town of Wau-wau-too-sa was created by act of the Wisconsin Territorial Legislature in 1840, and it became a city of the second class after the 1970 census. The name Wauwautosa originated from two sources: “wau-wau-tae-sie” is a Potawatomi word for firefly, and the name honors Potawatomi Chief Wauwautaesie.
